Questions & Answers
High school juniors, seniors, transfer students, and anyone interested in pursuing a degree in health sciences, biology, environmental science, or a related field. Families and supporters are welcome, too!
Yes, the Open House is completely free. We do ask that you register in advance to help us prepare the best experience possible for you.
A student should consider whether or not they meet the minimum GPA requirements for the program that they are interested and consider their timeline as to when they would like to be actively enrolled in the nursing program.
ASN - 3 years and BSN 4 years
ASN/BSN- Yes, PT work is recommended
BIOL- Yes! but there are only a limited number of classes that are offered fully online in the Biology major, so only PT work is recommended
Yes, I would recommend this. A dental hygienist may be better served with the BSHS major.
For Pharmacy, take the pharmacy-transfer pathway, for graduate school in biology or postgraduate programs like PT, a biology degree is a good option.
